FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE:

Norwich, United Kingdom -June 27, 2013 -

TFD Europe are pleased to announce that we have been successful in winning a contract with the Defence Science & Technology Laboratory (Dstl) of the UK Ministry of Defence to explore how training-related considerations are best managed within the UK’s Through Life Capability Management (TLCM) approach to system acquisition. The contract is for the Defence Human Capabilities Science & Technology Centre (DHCSTC), which specializes in research related to human capabilities such as training.

This contract was won by a consortium comprising SVGC, TFD Europe, CORDA (part of BAE SYSTEMS) and SEA.   The consortium brings a combination of enterprise modelling, human factors modelling, training knowledge, and knowledge and experience of TLCM.  TFD Europe will play the majority role, providing decision support modelling.

This is the second contract that TFD Europe has won within this Framework with the DHCSTC.  We are also currently delivering a contract to model the best blend of residential or distributed training across the whole of the UK military. Other contractual proposals along these lines are being developed as we establish a leading role in this field.
